Encouraging Others to Give
Chase announced a $1 million donation to the second annual St. Jude Thanks and Giving fundraising program and encouraged customers to help the children's hospital by using their St. Jude Platinum Visa card. Chase gives an amount equal to one percent of what people charge on that card to St. Jude. St. Jude is the only pediatric cancer research center where families never pay for treatment not covered by insurance. Chase also automatically donates $50 to St. Jude whenever consumers apply for the card online or during special events when customers use their cards for the first time.
