To Internet or Not?
If you are eager to get on the Internet and use the many compliance resources available in cyberland but your CEO won't let you, it may be worth passing on some advice from Skip Hove, Vice Chairman of the FDIC. Hove believes that all banks should have access to the internet. As he observes, "its not just people getting on to play "Pac Man. There are good business reasons for being there."
FDIC has developed a well-stocked web-site to support bank's information needs. You can stay current and save money by regularly checking FDIC's home page. As Hove points out, FDIC can get it to you over the Internet much faster than they can get it to you in the mail.
