Question & Answer
Question: What do we need to produce and have ready for Year 2000 exams?
Answer: The examination procedures place responsibility on the examiner to review certain materials and policies. There is no overt requirement that you have these materials compiled and conveniently located in one place. Some examiners are asking banks to do this, creating a documentation requirement on the banks being examined. Although you aren't really required to do this, it is probably not a good idea to fight it. Remember that the examiner is under pressure and working on a tight schedule. The more you do to help the examiner, the more smoothly your exam is likely to run. Remember, however, that the examiner should not criticize you if you don't have it compiled as they suggest.
