OCC Publishes CRA Investment Directory
The OCC has published its latest directory, "Community Development Investments Program for National Banks." Along with two previously published documents, these directories include information on hundreds of community development projects undertaken during 1999, 1998, and 1997. They are a good resource for ideas and contacts. If you aren't sure whether an idea will qualify for CRA credits, you can check the directory - as well as call your regulator. The directory can be obtained from the OCC or downloaded from the OCC's website. Be sure to have lots of paper in your printer.
