Bank Enterprise Awards
Every year the Community Development Financial Institutions (CDFI) fund awards $8 million in incentives through the Bank Enterprise Award Program. This is available to eligible FDIC insured institutions that apply. Investments in and loans to a CDFI may make the investing or lending FDIC-insured institution eligible for monetary incentives. The goal of the program is to motivate traditional banks and thrifts to increase investments in and cooperation with projects of CDFIs.
