FinCEN has set up a hotline for calling in suspicious activities - any time, any day of the week. Just call 1-866-556-3974 to report urgent suspicious activity. The hotline enables you to report suspicious activity quickly. Note, however, that the hotline does not replace the SAR itself. You must still file the SAR, especially if you want the safe harbor. We recommend that you use this number to report information that law enforcement should learn about immediately, such as suspected terrorism or a crime that is occurring and can do significant harm.
FinCEN's new hotline is not OFAC's hotline. You should call OFAC at 1-800-540-6322 for OFAC issues
