FRB Announces New CAC Members
Every year, one third of the Consumer Advisory Council turns over and the Federal Reserve appoints new members to a three-year term. The FRB selects members from the credit industry, academics and research, and consumer advocacy. This year's new bankers on the Council include Lisa Sodeika, SVP for Corporate Affairs for HSBC North America, Kelly Walsh, Compliance and CRA officer for Bank of Hawaii, and Faith Anderson, VP of Legal Compliance and General Counsel for American Airlines Federal Credit Union.
Other new members will represent Neighborhood Housing Services organizations, the Woodstock Institute, service providers, and professors of law. This year's Chair and Vice Chair bring consumer strength to the Council. Mark Pinsky, President and CEO for the National Community Capital Association, will serve as Chair. The Vice Chair will be Lori Swanson, Solicitor General for the Office of the Minnesota Attorney General.
