FTC to Review Regulations
As required by federal law, agencies must periodically review their regulations for changes that may clarify or simplify the regulation or reduce burden. FTC has announced that in 2005, it will review two regulations, the Children's Online Privacy Protection Rule, and the Deceptive Advertising as to Sizes of Viewable Pictures Shown by Television Receiving Sets Rule. The Credit Practices Rule is scheduled for review in 2006.
