I Want My SAR!
Some people just want to know what anyone, especially their bank, may be saying behind their back. In the case of Wuliger v. OCC, the plaintiff wants a copy of any and all SARs that have been filed concerning him and his activities. Failing to get such documents from the financial institution in question or from FinCEN, the plaintiff is now using the court system to try to force the OCC to provide the same information. So far, all the plaintiff's efforts have been in vain.
