Growing Compliance Officers
If you cannot find a qualified professional to be your compliance officer, you may have to grow one.
According to the ABA Banking Journal, nearly 90% of community banks have difficulty hiring compliance professionals. This problem is particularly challenging in the context of growing regulatory expectations. The solution is to find interested new college graduates and train them on the job - or at ABA's National Compliance School.
