Community Banks
In his testimony to Congress on regulatory burden, FDIC Vice Chairman raised concerns about the impact of regulatory burden on smaller banks and the ability of smaller banks to function, must less compete. He stated that the regulatory burden review found that the relative distribution of burden across banks by size hits community banks disproportionately hard making them less able to compete.
