Reg CC: More Local Numbers
Consolidation of the Federal Reserve's check processing centers marches on. In December, the Oklahoma City branch will no longer process checks. Checks for that area will be cleared in Dallas, making for a very large local check processing area.
In January, routing numbers 0442 and 2442 from the Columbus office of the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland will be assigned to Cincinnati. The other routing numbers will be reassigned to Cleveland and the Columbus office will be closed as of February 11. If you are located in either of these areas, be sure to update your list of local routing numbers.
