FDIC: Relationship Managers
FDIC is making enhancements to its relationship manager program. Having experimented with the program for more than a year, the FDIC is now going forward with a full relationship manager program. All FDIC-supervised institutions will have a relationship manager who will function as that institution's primary contact for all purposes. The relationship examiner may be the lead examiner during examinations or will be in close contact with the examination team.
The relationship manager program will not involve any change to current risk management and CRA procedures. Instead, the relationship manager may bring additional vitality to these procedures.
