Finding Regulation X
Question: I know this may sound like a silly question, but where can I find Regulation X?
Answer: Basic, but not silly. Regulation X is sort of hidden. The Regulation X to which we refer in the compliance business is the regulation for RESPA. It is issued by HUD, not the FRB. Therefore, if you are using a resource from your regulatory agency - especially if it is the FRB's Regulatory Serviced - Regulation X will be neatly tucked behind the RESPA tab.
