Mary Beth Guard
Mary Beth Guard is CEO of Glia Group, Inc. and Executive Editor of BankersOnline.com. In a career spanning more than two decades, she has gained a national reputation as a banking attorney, speaker, writer and ID fraud expert. She's been speaking on OFAC since the mid-90s, when few bankers were even aware of the requirements. Over the last few years, she has written a number of articles on the OFAC requirements and has developed useful tools for helping financial institutions comply with the sanctions programs.

Articles written by Mary Beth have appeared in the ABA Bank Compliance magazine, ABA Banking Journal, Bankers' Hotline, Consumer Finance Quarterly and a number of state association publications on topics ranging from banking law/compliance to technology. She has presented programs for many national banking organizations, the FFIEC, and more than a dozen state associations.
