BOL blogs have now moved to Facebook.
BankersOnline currently features four different Web logs (“blogs”). In them, BOL team members can quickly share news, thoughts, rants, anecdotes, and stories in a quick and less formal way than through traditional articles. We put these thoughts in topical categories.
Welcome to the Banker Blog. This is the general category, not specific to those covered below. It is for most things bank related, be they compliance, human resources lending or operational in nature.
The Security Blog has information concerning fraud, robberies, and security-related issues. Since we all "do security" in one form or another, we all have to be aware of what is happening, so we can learn.
The Antiphishing Blog promises to be very active, because the phishermen are. We'll alert you to the newest methods these fraudsters are using to steal your customers information, and your money. We'll help you cast a security net over your customers so everyone is proactive, informed and aware of the scams being used on the internet. We hope though, that you'll get hooked here and come back often for more information.
The Geek Blog is for technology issues. Notices of critical software problems you may not see elsewhere, new programs or hardware to improve your effectiveness or just tips to make the work day easier will be entered here. We may also share some of our "toys" to give you ideas on what you may find useful in your future
