Question: We are a new HMDA reportable bank effective January 2008. When should we post the Home Mortgage Disclosure Act Notice in our lobby, since we will not have to submit the LAR until 2009?
Answer: January 2, 2008, assuming you're closed New Year's Day, unless your regulator tells you otherwise.
