Resending Returned Adverse Action Letter
Answer by David Dickinson, BOL Guru

Question: When an adverse action letter is sent to a customer and it is received as no address and then it comes back to us, what are the procedures and do we need to resend the letter for a bad address?
Answer: If you have sent the letter to the address provided by the applicant and it is not valid, you have no further responsibility to resend the AAN. Simply retain both the envelope returned to your institution and your copy of the AAN.
