Non-HMDA Reporting Bank Required to Collect Data?

Question: If my bank is not a HMDA reporting bank because we are not in a metropolitan area, are we still required to collect HMDA information for our loan file?

Answer: Not under Reg. C, HMDA. You may have OCC requirements under the FHHLDS, however, if you are a national bank.
