Question: What guidelines apply for advertisements on a bank's Internet website in regards to posting rates?

Answer: The same rules you use for paper-based disclosures apply to loan and deposit interest rates. There are a few exceptions you'll find in the regulations that allow pop-up windows and links to more information.

The content is the same, the layout can vary between a Web site and a paper ad.
