DSL Internet Access

BIO AND CONTACT INFO

QUESTION: We are thinking about getting a DSL line for one of our departments. They have five PCs that we would want to be able to share the line. Would this present a problem?

ANSWER: A DSL line will allow your employees to access the Internet much faster than a normal phone line. As DSL lines become more popular the competition between vendors has increased. Check with various providers and ask for a list of companies in your area that utilize their service. Not all locations can receive DSL and not all providers offer the same level of service. The technology is available to link your five PCs to one DSL line but it may take a number of visits by a service technician to get it operating properly.
