How to Create a Post
  1. Log in to the Bankers' Threads message board. On the right side, near the bottom of your screen, (your resolution may vary, so placement descriptions are not precise) you may click on the words "Log In" to enter your registered name and password. Skip this to post anonymously if that is your desire. There are limited forums available for this.
  2. Select the appropriate discussion forum for your question, e.g. "Article 9," "Audit," "CIP and BSA/PATRIOT Act Issues," etc. Select the most appropriate forum and post your question in just one.

  3. Click on "New Topic" on the left of your screen.


    You can enter a topic name in the "Subject" box and your question "Post" box below that. When your question has been entered, click on the Preview Post button to review it, then Submit to add your question to the threads.

    Posts can be made by registered users using their real name, a fictitious "handle" or completely anonymously if desired. This will allow you to potentially draw on the skills and experience of many, many compliance professionals who deal with this every day.

    If you are reading a thread and want to add your thoughts, enter them in the Quick Reply box. You can then review your reply and submit the same as for a new post.
