Prayer Request, Please

The mother of one of my co-workers and good friends has been having back issues for several months. It was determined in July that she had a broken vertebrae due to osteoporosis. Surgery was performed earlier this month, however she was still in pain and couldn't get out of bed, etc - and her hemoglobin is low. My friend took her mother to a doctor on Monday for a complete physical - and preliminary results are bone cancer.
Prayers for the mother, Valda, and my friend, Donna, would be greatly appreciated. Valda is being brought back here (lives 2 hours away) and will be admitted to the hospital this afternoon.

Thanks guys. She just told me her mother has lost 28 pounds since June.

We just lost a friend to that terrible cancer, unfortunately, only 4 months after diagnosis.
