Well Gram is about to turn on the water-works. My oldest granddaughter is graduating tomorrow night and I am losing my running buddy!

The first time I laid eyes on her she was unstrapping herself out of her car-seat and came bounding to the car window with beautiful blonde curls and blue-eyes. There were times I just wanted to beat her little bottom when she would fold those arms together, get that scary mean look she thought she had and tell me no. You see she was the little princess.

Her mom marries my son when she was 2 and I was watched this little toot grow into this smart, beautiful, big-hearted, gracious young woman who is graduating from high-school tomorrow night.

I have never been so proud to be called Gram in my life. I am losing a running partner, but her little sister is willing to step up and take her place.

Sorry I just had to pay tribute to my sweet angel of a granddaughter!

I feel your pain. My youngest child is graduating high school next weekend. Where did the time go?

Your granddaughters are so blessed to have such a loving, involved grandmother. I wish I could say the same regarding my own mother's relationship with my three children.

Well I only cried once and that was when the ceremony was over and she came and hugged me! It was an awesome, but rainy night in Texas and we got some great pictures!

We partied on Saturday night with a bar-b-que for her!

The biggest downer of the whole weekend was getting the message that a friend and now retired co-workers grandson was killed when the truck he was working on fell and crushed him!

Hold those babies tights, you never know when it may be your last one!
