Does anyone know what the timing requirements are for discharging a residential and/or commercial mortgages. It is my current understanding that it is 10 business days for residential and no required time frame for commercial. Any information would be appreciated- even direction to what Mass General Law or regulation to refer to. Thanks

In case anyone was interested - MGL ch 183 s. 55 requires lenders to provide w/in 30 days of receiving payment for both residential and commercial
