If the Bank pays the credit report fee out of the loan origination fee paid by the borrower, should the amount of the credit report be broken out and itemized on the GFE and HUD noted as POC or is keeping it in the loan origination fee sufficient?

It has to be shown as POC.

So does in Appendix A when the line item instruction notes:

Line 804 is used for the cost of the credit report if there is a charge separate from the origination fee.

Should the credit report still be noted as POC? In this situation, the lender charges a $100 loan origination fee of which $20 will be used to pay for the credit report. Should the loan origination fee be noted on line 801 as $100 and line 804 note $20 as POC? I have always been under the impression that all fees paid in assocition with the loan regardless of whether the borrower paid them the lender paid them should be noted. The only difference is fees paid by the borrower are included in the total and lender paid fees are POC.
