Is there a comment anywhere that states that if a lender has life of loan monitoring then it does not have to make a new flood determination on renews, increases, or extensions even on loans that are over seven years old? Thanks.

No. You are required to get a new SFHDF if the "old" determination doesn't meet the 3 conditions. (> 7 years, on a SFHDF and no map changes).

Life of loan is a service by vendors not a regulatory issue.

The life of loan function has no value when it comes to using a SFHD for subsequent transactions. Seven years is the limit on a SFHD.

Nope. LOL is not a regulatory requirement and has no factor in when a new determination is required.

To use an existing determination all three of the following requirements must be met.

1. Existing determination is on the SFHDF.
2. The existing determination is LESS than 7 years old.
3. There have been no map changes. (BTW, LOL monitoring may not automatically advise you of a map change. It may only advise you if the map change affects the status of your property. Check your contract.)
