I'm a little bit confused and hope someone can help me please.
First I was wondering if a trust can be like this:
John Doe, Trustee ? That's all we have on the title policy on a loan. I just thought it was strange.

If the the deed is in John Doe, Trustee does the wife sign off on the mortgage? I just thought that the signer would sign Joe Doe, trustee. Thanks

I would be questioning the title company. I don't see how the property can be titled only to John Doe, Trustee. What trust is John Doe a trustee of? As I said you need to be questioning the title company and/or having your attorney review the trust agreement.
