We have a property that has been Re-Determined to be in a Flood Zone. I understand we are to give the customer 45 days to obtain Flood Insurance. If the customer does not obtain Flood Insurance within 45 days, then do we allow another 45 days for force placement or do the two 45 day periods fun concurrent?

45 days from the day you notify them - one 45 day period.

1) Once you find out they are in a SFHA, you notify the customer they are in a SFHA and they must obtain insurance within 45 days.

2) Day 46, you call your force placement insurance company and force place that day.
