We are considering including the required disclosure on the back of our deposit account statements rather than sending out a special mailing each year. Does anyone see a problem with that? I believe we are allowed to provide the notice annually or "more frequently," so I think this should be ok, but I wondered how others are doing this.

Why not bundle it with Privacy?

I guess it just seems pretty unrelated to privacy. At least the back of the statements also includes the Reg E Error Resolution Notice, which is quasi-related. I suppose it could be included either place. I just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing anything.

Bundling can mean less postage and a set calendar when you "get 'er dun."

Does anyone have sample language of what they are putting on the back of the statements?

I don't have it right here, but we're using the same language that we used for the statement stuffer we included with our December 2008 deposit account statements.

Does this affect MasterCard cards as well?

Does this disclosure need to be sent to business customers?
