Aren't banks required to have a BSA exemption list in each branch? If not, how would branch employees know who is and who is not exempt.... Just did a branch audit, and employees were unsure about the location of the list?

Is it possible the exemptions are built into the teller system?

There is no requirement to have a list, by regulation. I believe this requirement was removed in 1996. However, I agree with you - how would personnel who is exempt? It only makes sense.

Ours are built into our teller system so that the teller will never be prompted for a CTR on that particular customer.
