So many of us have them ... you know, those statements after our e-mail signatures that state something to the effect of "...if you are not the intended recipient of this message..."

My question is: Does anyone remember where this came from anymore? I sure don't and an employee asked me about it today. I'd love to give her an answer...

I went to Google.com and typed in "if you are not the intended recipient" and this is what came up:

http://www.emaildisclaimers.com/Sample_disclaimers.htm

There are some explanations about what legal issues a company is concerned about and how they can be handled by various disclaimers. Good luck.
