Count me in, have been 2 lbs away from my goal for more than a month and having a hard getting motivated. WW ends next week and I'm not going to sign up again but still use the program to get rid of some more of me!! Have to buy a scale this weekend for home, weigh in and report next week.

Ends, as in the "at work" location I have been going to can't get enough participants to continue. And I know me, if I can't do it at work I'll never get to a meeting outside of work or even weigh-in. So hubby & I will use what I have learned, count our points and weigh-in at home once a week. And checkin in here will give me some place where I am accountable for doing what I say I'm gonna do I know me, I also need that!

In all honesty guys, the original Weight Watchers thread was a huge motivation for me when I was losing weight. I would check in all the time. I enjoyed the congratulations when I lost and appreciated the encouragement when I hit plateaus. This can be a great tool - Go for it!

I agree, I think this will be a good way to stay accountable. Well, I've lost one of the two pounds I gained. Thanks kitten and Search. You know what I find difficult at times? Eating with a signficant other. Before I met him, I hardly drank soda, then he showed me his addiction to Coke! And he loves chocolate chip cookies. I've done pretty well trying to avoid mimicing his eating habits, but sometimes the temptation is hard. I also try to encourage him to eat/drink better, but I hate to dictate or limit him. I'd just like him to do it for himself.

Looking for My Happy Place....
|
I posted a piece of paper on my cabinet at work out in plan view. It 15 weeks worth of Wednesdays listed on it and yesterdays has my starting weight. I have it where I will stare at it EVERYDAY and force myself to make the right decisions so that first number is the high one and each Wednesday after will be lower. I hope it works!

I always have something "legal" around so when I'm tempted by what others are eating I can whip out my yummy snacks and not feel one ounce of guilt. There are several of those 100 cal packets that you might could sub in the place of your normal cookie... or depending on what program you're doing... per say...WW... you could dip into your 35 weekly allowance or just skim back on ur daily points and treat urself. As they say... don't totally deprive urself of that craving else you'll eventually cave and then feel tons of guilt. Speaking of dessert.... I LOVE ice cream...always have...always will. I have found that WW offers a great selection...but...my new found love.... SKINNY COW... oh gosh...so wanting to eat one right now. :licks lips: LOL.

I think the consistency of skinny cow is more like that of real ice cream than the ww brand. Their "flying saucers" are excellent.
If you are a ww, the new red velvet bars are really good (and only 1 point).
