Looking for My Happy Place....
I've seen the Skinny Cow in my local grocery, but hesitated to try it. Now I will. The hubby loves to go to DQ and get a chocolate malt. I need something to distract me - although I'm not a big "sweets" eater to begin with - this Skinny Cow could do the trick! Thanks!

I've already switched to soy milk for cereals.

Oh and congrats everyone who's already losing!

Sugar free Popsicle brand fudge popsicles are also good. I also love Skinny Cow ice cream sandwiches. A trick to eating less is to eat a small amount of your dinner and then eat a popsicle. The change from real food to a sweet signals the brain that dinner is over. Often we over eat just because food tastes so good and it is hard to stop.

I like the Popsicle creamsicles (sugar free) - not a big fudgesicle fan. Love the Skinny Cow mint ice cream sandwiches, too! Some of the slow churned ice cream is also really good. I recently had Kemps white chocolate raspberry - yum.

Do any of you know offhand if the Skinny Cow has artificial sweeteners in it?

Becca-I believe the ice cream sandwiches do have Splenda in them. I'm not sure about the rest of their products as that is the only one I've tried.

Also...ladies...if you haven't checked out the Skinny Cow website...it's worth a few minutes. There are 'sassy one liners' from "Skinny", a walking journal and a grocery list that you can download.

Disclaimer...I've never tried any of their products! If/when I eat ice cream I go for the really good stuff.

Search, thanks for the tips. I think that is a good idea, to keep something healthy handy to lessen the temptation for something bad.

Well, I played beach volleyball for two hours last night. It was a great workout and really fun. (The gym can get so monotonous!) Weighed in this morning, down two pounds! grin I also want to thank everyone for their support, you guys a great.

I also try to encourage him to eat/drink better, but I hate to dictate or limit him. I'd just like him to do it for himself.

Sky...here's what I do in that situation.... I always have something "legal" around so when I'm tempted by what others are eating I can whip out my yummy snacks and not feel one ounce of guilt.

There are several of those 100 cal packets that you might could sub in the place of your normal cookie... or depending on what program you're doing... per say...WW... you could dip into your 35 weekly allowance or just skim back on ur daily points and treat urself. As they say... don't totally deprive urself of that craving else you'll eventually cave and then feel tons of guilt.

Speaking of dessert.... I LOVE ice cream...always have...always will. I have found that WW offers a great selection...but...my new found love.... SKINNY COW... oh gosh...so wanting to eat one right now. :licks lips: LOL.

Sugar free Popsicle brand fudgsicles and Skinny Cow's yummy delicious array of treats are the only thing that got me through the summer months allowing me to feel un-deprived and still losing!!!

Congratulations to everyone for the big and small successes so far - you are amazing! And to everyone who might have gone up a pound or two... do NOT beat yourself up about it. Just keep plugging away. This weight loss lifestyle doesn't require perfection, just persistence! smile

I stayed steady this week, didn't lose and didn't gain, and I'm happy with that because my jeans still feel looser and I believe my muscles are getting bigger and my fat cells are shrinking smaller!

Oh, and by the way... the WW Red Velvet bars are FABULOUS and only 1 point. I bought 2 boxes this week LOL.

Stick to it, everyone, and stay motivated this weekend!

Search - I finally remembered to check the brand of wraps I was talking about <I'm home for lunch>. It's Ole Mexican Foods and they are called Xtreme.

Hope that helps.

For the last seven weeks, I've been walking every morning. I've been sick & didn't go the last three days, so it's going to hurt when I get back to it tomorrow morning! Our local pool has lap swim available at 5:30 every morning, so I think I'm going to start that next week. It'll be that three times a week and walking the other days. I swam competitively for 6 years, so I'm anxious to get back in a pool. I know how much weight I can lose by doing that type of activity!

I'm down 30 pounds and yet another pants size!! Yay!! I'll keep reading here to get more motivation from the rest of you all!

Afternoon Everyone!

Wow...what a busy Friday... just so glad the week is coming to a close!

JLJ... I love the SkinnyCow Website.... it's packed full of info! Speaking of website... just about every brand of food now has a site and it's amazing the yumminess one can find there...from ideas, tips and reciepes.

Sky... you are most welcome! Gotta help one another in this journey.

Golden...you just reminded me of the free sample of the WW Red Velvet bar that I got from the meeting last nite. I can't wait to try it! :licks lips:

DS... thanks for the brand name... I'll look for it next time I'm in the store.

BB... I do hope you get to feeling better...and SOON!

Congrats to ALL that have lost.

I'm excited...as I was down 2.6 pounds last nite... guess I did better over the holiday weekend than I thought!

Here's to seeing "less" of each other in the next week! smile

Bought a digital scale yesterday and found I have again maintained and not gained. Down side, have not lost but I choose to look at good side today!! grin Will get on every Wednesday morning and only Wed morning - - - otherwise I'll drive my self crazy with the normal ups and downs of the day. Wrote my weight and hubbys weight on the calendar in my purse - safe from inquiring minds.

I still have the picture from Christmas morning family breakfast that got me into WW on my dresser - - a reminder of what I don't want to go back to!!

Lover of anything Skinny Cow!!

Have a good weekend everyone!
