Rebecca had surgery last week and aspirated into her lungs. She is now in a coma like state with full lungs and attempts to releive the pressure and get her breathing on her own are failing.
This is the type of girl that would pray for anyone at anytime for any reason. Her family is asking for prayers and lots of them!!!

They are going to try and lower the ventilator again in the morning to see if Rebecca can breath on her own. Right now she is taking 18 breaths a minute and only 8 are hers.
I appreciate your continued prayers for her as I know her family does!!!

The doctor told the family to "pray because this was in God's hands now."

Praying that God's will be done....so that we may glorify Him for His wisdom and grace and healing. I pray that this cup passes from this family, but if it does not, know that God will sustain them through every dark day.

No real changes in the looks of her lungs. Her temp is at 103 today and they are working to get that down.
The docs have upped her oxygen level and she is under heavy sedation.
While it's not anything spectacular, it's not horrible either.

Things are seeming to turn around for her. Kidney's have failed but are improving. Lung function is coming back around and she is finally able to tolerate reduced oxygen.

This afternoon's update :)Yeah for good news!!!

We just saw Rebecca. Today looks like it is going to be opposite of yesterday. So far, all of the tests for infections are negative. She should get off antibiotics today. Her kidneys are a little better.
