I posted a long time ago about my brother who had prostate cancer. Well, the time has come. They put him into hospice today. No one will predict how long he has but they are no longer treating him. His girfriend, who has been a godsend, says she doesn't think he will make a week. They are just making him comfortable. He lives in Dallas and I live in PA. We just got back Tuesday night from a weeklong visit with him. My dilemma is whether to back now or wait. His daugther goes to college and his girfriend has a fulltime job so someone has to take care of him somehow. I am also his executor so I will have to go back (if I am not already there) when he passes to take care of everything. I am using up my vacation time quickly as I also spent a week with my duaghter when she had her baby in February. I don't want to lose my job but I want to do what is best for him. So please pray for him and for me that I can make the right decision.

I, too, am a distance from my family (not as far as you)...so i completly understand how torn you are between what you want to do and what you should and maybe need to do.
