I'm in need of prayers and/or positive thoughts for a fellow co-worker/friend. She and her husband have been trying over ten years to get pregnant and after all this time and with a little help they finally are. But she just received a call from her doctor and they are concern that the baby is not progressing as it should be. Unforutnately, I've been down this road that she is currently heading on, but I'm hoping she is going to be taking a u-turn. She's going for testing today and on Friday. I'm trying to send her all my positive thoughts and prayers and I'm hoping others will too.

Thank you the prayers, she went for a second round of blood work this afternoon. Once her doctor has the results they are going to compare the HCG levels, and we want them to have doubled. But, we know until Monday. We are keeping our fingers crossed and will continue to pray.

Well, she got the results in, but the doctor is still unsure in what's going on. Her HCG levels are extremly high, but dropped between the days of the testing. They are sending her for more blood work on Wed and then an ultrasound. At this point it's become a waiting game for her. I just keep trying to give her positive thoughts and prayers.

Update....My friend did her 2nd ultrasound yesterday, and unfortunatly her baby stopped growing at 6 weeks. But, she and her husband are very strong, they say once the pull through these tough times, they will continue to try.

I'm so sad for them. A friend of mine had the same issues and eventually had two healthy children.

Her and her husband are once again trying through others means of fertility treatments. Their first attempt did not succeed last month (they had a 20% chance). They are attempting the second round (40% chance). I have a good feeling on this one, and I'm sending her as much postive thoughts and prayers I can, but more would be awesome. Please send your prayers and positive thoughts. Eveything else in their lifes is going so well, they both just received promotions, they are very stable and responsible, just don't know why this little miracle isn't happening for them. But I'm going to keep on praying

Prayers from NM, I had a friend that went through this as well, it was actually posted on BOL sometime last year, and right now she has a bouncing baby girl and just celebrated her first mommy's day. So I know how hard this is for your friend, please keep us updated, and we will keep her in our thoughts and prayers.
