I am almost 100% sure that Jaleel did play his cousin too ..... His Female cousin that had a crush on Eddie. I can't remember "her" name though.

Correction - Urkel was transformed into Stephan in his special machine...

I second those votes. The longer Maks stays on TV the better the show is

Pats, I LOVE your tagline!

But I'm done with Maks. Derek is as good a dancer, as good to look at as Maks and a far better choreographer.
Remember when Karina had that attitude? She softened and won enough people over to get a great partner and win. Maks should try it too.

Yes they have. But I don't remember who the partners are. Maybe someone else can help with this.

Well, tonight's the big night. I saw some clips on GMA the other day. Some of the stars looked really good and some not so good. I hope Gladys Knight shows all the youngsters up.

You know what I love best about this show?
It makes me smile...big, ear to ear smiling at the accomplishments of these people as they enjoy what they're doing!
Such a change from all the other reality shows. The competition here is about what the individual can do themselves. Not the nastiness of some of the other competitions.

This is going to be an exciting season. Everyone danced well tonight. There was no one that I thought should go home. And two dancers got nines already. WOW!!

Yeah, I was pleasantly surprised too. Most were really good, especially for the first show. And I think the lowest score was 20, which isn't bad.

Now, regarding Martina's face, does she look different (i.e. better) because she put on some weight or did she have some cosmetic surgery? I realize she probably has never worn makeup or had her hair done like last night, but she really was attractive!

Cheryl and her partner should do very well. It seems that all the ladies liked William.

Is it me or is Melissa Gilbert a poster child for what can go wrong when tatoos age?

I can't believe Urkel is tied for first but he did dance well.

Urkel was very good, as was the UK classical singer (Kathryn? she danced with Mark Balas). I think Jack Wagner & Maria Menunos were the lowest in my opinion. But honestly the best opening night talent I have on the show. It's going to be an entertaining season.

I was waiting to see what you all thought before I voiced opinions.
Ditto on Melissa. Laura Ingalss Wilder gone wild indeed. But not much rhythm.
Can't tell who's had more surgeries, Martina or Jack.
Donald Driver, or should I say his hip action, was a pleasant surprise! wink
From the pairings, I think they're trying to give some of the other pros a chance at the mirror ball.
I see Melissa, Jack, Maria and Gladys as some of the first to go.

Urkel, Kathryn (the opera singer, and William are my top three picks but I won't count Donald Driver out. He will have a big fan base. Gladys is going to be there for a while because of her fan base and she is a showman.

I thought it was the best opening night of all the seasons! I enjoyed every performance.

Finally got to watch it last night. What a great show! And William is going to give Maks and Val a run for their money in the hotness factor. wink

I wonder what happened to Lacey this season. Maybe she got tired of being paired with a sure loser.

William appears on those Spanish soap operas. The Soup makes fun of his show and shows clips of him quite often.

Cheryl Burke is the luckiest woman in America. Oh and Martina was really bad last night.
