there has to be a certification by the lender on recorded instruments but it is my understanding that is only required if notarized out of state...is that right?

Something called a certificate of residence certifying the address of the mortgagee and signed by an agent of the mortagee on recorded docs...is it required when there is out of state notarizing only? I tried to delete the above post but wasn't successful....
