I am in the process of doing my annual SAFE Act monitoring. I have just gone in and tried to pull a report that shows the SSN, DOB, etc to verify the info in the system is correct and matches the HR records. What I am finding is that since July 2013 they now want us to request and pay for an ad hoc report that contains ‘sensitive data’. Is anyone else running into this? So let me see, we have to register and pay for the experience and now that we need to monitor the information that is in there we have to pay to extract the information that we already paid to put in there? Does anyone else see a problem with this or am I just misreading the situation?

Is this on the NMLS website? I just ran a report yesterday but I was just looking for a listing of all registered MLO's within our bank. May have to check further.

It is contained in the 'Sensitive Data Ad Hoc Report Policy for Companies/Institutions'. If we are just looking in the wrong place then I will be overjoyed. I looked through all the reports that were available and they did not contain that information.

I do not have an option for the that report.

The information can be found under 'report requests' click on the link 'view sample reports' and then you will see the 'ad hoc reports' information from there. I am an Admin so it might be different for me. What are other banks using now?

I checked it out, I think that is pretty bad to charge again to the same people. That should be information that is readily available to us.

We just pulled everyone up seperately to get around that for the audit but we only have 30.

What is the web site or link to the NMLS? I've been tasked with this project and coordinating with our HR Department. The FI where I came from had someone specifically designated to do this while I concentrate on the other residential mortgage regulations. This certainly feels like a formidable task, but I'm up for the challenge.
