Our Banks's mortgage loan subsidiary has its MLO's registered under the sub, can these MLO's also originate loans (home equity) through the Bank. Can they be registered to originate loans for both the bank and the subsidiary. We are FDIC regulated.
Thanks in advance for any comments.

Hi! The mortgage loan originators at the subsidiary would register under the new bank - essentially showing 2 employers. When originating a home equity for the bank, the bank's number would show with the MLO's # and when originating mortgage loans for the sub, the sub's # would show with the MLO's #. The MLO would have to authorize the bank to add the addtional relationship.

Hope that helps! smile
