I can see Reg W within your Loan Policy but as far as your other 2 requests, they seem a little out there. I would chanllenge the examiners for the reason of the policies.

To be fair, the poster said they requested it, not required it. Of course I know nothing of the institution the OP works at, but if they are in the business of merging/acquiring other institutions, then they probably should have a policy or some written program on how they will manage M&As. We don't know the situation surrounding the request from the examiners.
