If a financial institution requests SS #s, DOB, addresses, etc on a 314(b) request, do you provide that info to them? Not sure as to "how much" information you can provide. Thank you.

Assuming both financial institutions are registered, I'm not aware of any limitations on what you can provide. Note the discussion in the examination manual about the procedures you should have in place for storing "the other bank's" information securely.

Yes, I read it in the examination manual that you cannot disclose whether or not a SAR was filed. Thank you, Ken.
