Is the bank required to send out to customers a 30-day notice (229.18(e)) if the bank is changing the regulation CC disclosure (229.16) that is given out at account opening? The bank currently uses it Reg. CC policy as its disclosure, I am looking into changing the disclosure to the model C-3 Format. The bank's policy is not changing at all. We are just simplifying (removing non required information) the initial Reg. CC disclosure that is given to out.

No, you aren't required to send out the updated disclosures unless there is a change that affects the timing of the customer's access to deposited funds.
