Hi! We now rely on the DoD site to give a servicemember benefits but sometimes we still get the Order. In this case, the Order says the service is expired but the DoD site says he is still active. Do we retain the reduced rate or go by the Order? It also says he is Army Reserve- so I am wondering, perhaps naively, if reservists always say active because they can be called up at any time???

On the Net
If they can be "called up" they wouldn't be "active." There are full time reservists though.

In this case the conservative approach is to follow the DoD database and contact the consumer for verification.

The ability to back-date on your system is your friend.
