We are in the process of converting issuance from embossed cards to flat. Apple Pay doesn't capture card number from flat card, it needs to be manually inputted. Wanted to see if there are other issuers with flat cards that participate in Apple Pay and what customer feedback they receive on this issue if any. Thanks!

We have flat cards but not are not on Apple pay. However, we have the same outcome with adding a card to Google Wallet. Camera doesn't pick it up so it has to be key entered. I'm unsure if it's the "flatness" causing a problem or whether the position of the card number on the card is not in the place the wallet app is looking for it to be.
