trinna Gold Star Joined: Oct 2003 Posts: 288 Midwest	Curious. Who in your organization is responsible for compliance with the SAFE Act? Like registering MLOs, arranging fingerprinting, doing background checks, etc., etc. And if you say "our Safe Act Officer" in which department does this officer reside?

Our Mortgage Department Supervisor and HR handles the compliance part of the SAFE ACT. ksteve New Poster Joined: Apr 2014 Posts: 4 Minnesota	Our Compliance Officer is the responsible person and handles the registration and annual renewals. HR and the Chief Credit Officer are consulted when necessary.
