One of the Board of Directors of our Bank works for a Settlement Company. Our mortgage department occasionally uses that Settlement Company and I have seen the Director's name on the closing documents. To my knowledge, the Director is an employee and does not own any part of the Settlement Company.

The Settlement Company is not on our list of service providers.
