Does anyone know how it works to send money using your debit card in Snapchat? A customer called today stating they were expecting to receive money from a friend using Snapchat and they gave their friend a picture of their debit card in order for him to send it to his card. I cannot find any resources online to see how this service works. Would it appear as a deposit on their debit card for the receiver?

Would funds sent disputes be covered under Regulation E? They are giving friends pictures of their card numbers if this customer is correct!!

All you have to do is google: "send money over snapchat" and you get pages and pages of hits.

As far as the Reg E angle, you customer makes a claim for the "omission of an electronic funds transfer." Your investigation is brief. We reviewed our debit card posting file and determined there were no credits here for you.
