I busted my guy watching this one...a guy is sitting at the bar and he is finishing off a bottle of(wine cooler?) and enjoys it so mush he slips his tongue into it to get every last drop...is tongue eventually gets all the way to the bottom of the bottle. The next shot shows three women sitting at the end of the bar watching him. One of the women says, "I sure would like one of those"

I think that was the point of the commercial...

It doesn't make it any less annoying.

It's like a haircut, but for the entire lawn!
Mowing the lawn...is blowing my mind!!!

I LMAO when I saw the new DQ commercial when the guy gets his tongue caught in the mixer beater when he tries to lick the brownie dough. Then he talks with his injured tongue and says the new brownie blizzards are "muth thafer." Too funny!

I do too... It reminded me of a card I sent my mother for Mother's Day..

"A good mom lets her son lick the beaters after preparing a cake." "A great mom turns off the mixer first"

It must be a guy thing about this DQ commercial! My husband laughed too but I still think it's stupid!

I sent my mom & mother-in-law the same card!! Too funny!!!

And actually, I don't think/hope it's a guy thing--i'm a girl. The funny thing is my husband has come very close to injuring himself with the mixer--more than once!

Did anyone catch the new Coors commercial last night on MNF? William Perry standing in front of a HUGE refridgerator filled with Coors Light cracked me up...

There is a new commercial for Kayopectate where a guy is walking around carrying a toilet. He doesn't want to get to far from it. It is disgusting, especially when he gets relief from the Kayo and walks off leaving the toilet on the street. Yuk.

Well KC, if you hated that one, you will really hate the new one that asks the question "Do you want to become one of the regulars?" and shows three men day after day greating each other as they each step into a toilet stall. I actually hollered out "NOOOOOOOOO" at home by myself...my dogs looked at me like I was nuts!!!

Further South than I wanna be.
What about the one where the guy is window shopping with his lady and when they get to the lingere shop the announcer says something about how he used to be a little devil (sorry Maria) and little blue horns appear above his head. They walk into the shop and the Viagra is left on the screen. Give me a break, the guy is in his forties at best. Looks like his problem should be addressed in therapy.

LOL, I swear that is the OTHER one we have been talking about here at work. And I had exactly the same reaction as soon as I realized the "V" was his horns.....NOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

I'm really digin' the new HP digital camera commercials. Can anyone tell me if the song is an old song and who did it? Or is it a new song made to sound old? These may not be the right words, but it goes something like this..

"...Picture Album, pictures of your momma, taken by your poppa, a long time ago..."

Anyway, the visual effects are cool and the song just makes me happy.

I love the new Campbells Chunky Soup commercial with the "Bus Mom" Ms. McNabb where they say they are playing better on the road when they take mom and Campbells soup with them and they pass an "eats" sign and ask her if they can stop and she says no, and then she's hopping around in the huddle with them getting pumped up for the game.

The commercial for a cell phone where the little brother tries to get the older brother in trouble because he was out late and didn't call, but the father gives the older brother a better phone instead. At the end when the mother tells #1 to pick up #2 and #1 says "call me if you're going to be late, oh wait, you can't" I always have a great big smile on my face...must be part of the "oldest child" syndrome

Also dislike the Wilfred Brimley commercials for a prescription card service or whatever that is he's pitchin' now. I think he still has 30 year old oatmeal remnants encrusted in his mustache.

Actually, Mr. Brimley lives in my area. Can't say I've seen any oatmeal remnants in his mustache. But then I haven't gotten that close either.

We've had one on for a car dealership in the last few days. There is a zero in a cage guy asks why he's in a cage...he's a locked in rate. Doesn't sound very funny now that I've typed it!

Where the heart is
Love the one where the family dog absconds with the sandwhich and the drink from the kitchen counter and then frames the family cat for doing the deed!

Or the one where the "old woman cat lady" has run out of milk and tries to substitute with powered milk and water....

I've seen that one I think. Doesn't the guy ask why there isn't a percent sign in the cage as well, and the zero tells him he normally is, but he is on break???

I did chuckle a bit at it, but you are right. It loses something in the translation....

I'm getting really tired of the Sonic commercials. They are very annoying.

So no one knows if this is an old song or not?

I also like the "Michael Vick Experience" ad for Nike. Now that's a ride they should have at the Football Hall of Fame!
